I hope everybody had an amazing weekend; between the Red Truck Huck-Hat Tournament in Grand Junction and the Silverton Jamboree there was no shortage of things to do. I’ve posted pictures of <some of> the debauchery from Silverton…  Send pictures from the Huck if you have them…

What Would Flynn Do?

Alas, the revered and fearless Durango Ultimate player Austin Flynn has recently been seduced by that foxy mistress called world travel. While he plans to return to the front range (Evergreen) after visiting Cuba (not New Mexico…), I predict that he will quickly tire of the busy throngs, and the endless traffic. On top of that I suspect that the parents basement will not necessarily help to entice the women-folk. So… until Flynn returns, I propose the use of the acronym WWFD – What Would Flynn Do?  Not only will this help us survive until he returns, but it’ll no doubt be fun to try and think up what Flynn would really do in all sorts of compromising situations.

If you have pictures from Flynn’s seya later party last Friday please send them my way…

Due to my departure for a couple of months beginning in late April (right at the outset of a new ultimate season… dammit), I’ve undertaken the task of totally redesigning our little website as a WordPress site.  This means I’m no longer the only person capable of editing/adding to the website.  A lot of you all now have posting privileges and some of you have administrator privileges.  Those who feel like they want to be added to the “author” list just need to ask me or any of the other administrators to do so.

Speaking of which, here are the administrators:

Now this all may not seem like much of a change to most of you, but it is.  Hopefully, this will make the website more collaborative/communal like and such.

There will be some more changes and tweaks in the coming weeks, but if you all have any suggestions, let me know.

So I happen to be enjoying some delicious Pinstripe, with some pie from Home Slice and season four of greatest television show ever produced, MacGyver, when I’ve finished the six pack and the box has tipped over. Low and behold, there’s stuff written on the bottom of the box! Not only that, but it’s a list of Ska’s ‘thank you’-s, which include several people of great sentimental value to the ladies and gents at Ska, such as Coors (what? really?) and Durango Ultimate!

Of course, I had to capture this to share. One of the best things about this, of course, are the bragging rights. The Fallen Angels women’s rugby team (a.k.a. “The-Hottest-Group-of-Chicks-That-Could-Kick-Your-Ass”) and fellow Ska Brewing sponsoree, did not make the cut when it came time to print boxes. Who knew an inflated ego tasted so hoppy?
